Advanced Coaching Pathway: Coaching for Wellbeing and Behaviour Change
One of the most relevant and needed areas of coaching today. This pathway gives you practical, evidence-informed approaches for supporting clients with stress, energy, focus, boundaries, habits and health-related priorities.
This pathway is delivered by clinical specialists from TPC Health, bringing depth of clinical knowledge into a programme designed specifically for practising coaches. You will develop tools and techniques to help clients make meaningful, sustainable changes that improve their wellbeing, strengthen their resilience and support the way they live, work and lead.
This is one of TPC Coaching Academy's Advanced Coaching Pathways, designed for coaches who have completed a practitioner-level qualification and want to go further in a specialist area of practice. Not yet at practitioner level? The Coach Practitioner programme is the right starting point.
What the pathway covers
Over two days you develop practical, evidence-informed approaches for coaching around wellbeing and behaviour change, led by clinical specialists who bring both the research base and real-world coaching application.
-
Supporting clients with wellbeing, resilience and sustainable behaviour change
Learn how to work effectively with clients around wellbeing and behaviour change. Understand the psychological and physiological factors that shape how people sustain change, and develop a clear framework for coaching conversations in this area. Leave with the confidence to hold this work with competence and care.
-
Working positively with stress, pressure, energy and focus
Develop practical coaching tools to help clients understand and work constructively with stress and pressure rather than simply reduce them. Learn approaches for supporting clients to protect and manage their energy, improve focus and sustain performance without sacrificing wellbeing.
-
Helping clients identify priorities and turn them into action
Learn techniques for helping clients identify their wellbeing and health-related priorities with honesty and clarity. Develop tools for translating those priorities into realistic, achievable actions that fit the complexity of a client's actual life and work.
-
Coaching around boundaries, capacity and choices that protect wellbeing
Develop approaches for helping clients work with boundaries, personal capacity and the choices that either protect or erode their wellbeing over time. Learn how to coach with honesty and sensitivity around patterns that are hard to change but important to address.
-
Building healthier habits, strengthening motivation and creating lasting change
Learn evidence-informed approaches for helping clients build healthier habits, strengthen intrinsic motivation and create behavioural change that lasts. Understand why change attempts fail and how coaching can address the underlying factors rather than just the surface behaviour.
-
Building client confidence, self-awareness and ownership of wellbeing
Develop ways to support clients to increase confidence, self-awareness and genuine ownership of their wellbeing, both in and beyond work. Learn how to help clients build a more sustainable relationship with their own health and performance over the long term.
You will leave with
