The coaching course pathway
The courses form a single route. Start wherever fits your experience, and move on when you are ready.
Inside the Coach Practitioner programme
Four modules over roughly seven months, nine workshop days in total, delivered online. Each module builds on the last.
- Fundamentals of Coaching Core coaching skills, techniques and models. Three days. EMCC EQA Foundation accredited. Available as a standalone starting point.
- Creating Insights Self-awareness as a coach, emotional intelligence, values and belief systems, and coaching identity.
- Applied Positive Psychology in Coaching Strengths-based coaching, appreciative enquiry and transpersonal coaching.
- Coaching through Ambiguity and Complexity Practical frameworks for coaching in change, complexity and uncertainty, with systemic conversations and ethical practice.
Fundamentals of Coaching counts as Module 1. You only need Modules 2, 3 and 4 to complete the qualification, and the cost reflects what you have already done. Contact the team before booking.
Advanced coaching pathways
Four two-day programmes for practitioner-level coaches. Each is standalone and taken in any order, so you build specialist capability without committing to another full qualification.

What accreditation means here
Accreditation is a choice. Plenty of good coaches practise without it. What it gives you is independent evidence that your training was assessed against a recognised standard, which matters to some clients and organisations more than others.
TPC Leadership programmes hold accreditation with both bodies, so your options stay open while you train.

All courses are delivered online, live, to cohorts across the UK. These are not recorded modules you work through alone.

Frequently asked questions
- Are these coaching courses accredited?
- Yes. Fundamentals of Coaching holds EMCC EQA Foundation status. The Coach Practitioner programme is accredited by both the ICF and the EMCC. Transformational Team Coaching sits within an ICF AATC-accredited pathway leading to ACTC certification.
- Are the coaching courses delivered online?
- Yes. Courses run as live online sessions with a facilitator and a small cohort, to UK times. These are not recorded modules you work through alone. You coach and get coached throughout, and there is no travel or venue cost wherever you are in the UK.
- Which coaching course should I start with?
- For a low-commitment first look, start with Introduction to Coaching, one day with no prior experience needed. To build real coaching skills, start with Fundamentals of Coaching, which also counts as Module 1 of the Coach Practitioner. If you already know you want the full qualification, book the Coach Practitioner directly.
- How much do the coaching courses cost?
- Introduction to Coaching is £700 for one day. Fundamentals of Coaching is £2,100 for three days. The full Coach Practitioner qualification is £5,160 across four modules. Group Supervision is £576, Mentor Coaching is £1,800, and the advanced pathways are £1,200 each. All prices include VAT.
- Do I need a qualification to work as a coach?
- No. A qualification is not required to practise. Many organisations and clients treat accreditation as a signal of professional commitment, so whether to pursue it depends on the work you want and the clients you want to reach. The team will help you think it through.
- Do I need previous coaching experience?
- No prior experience is needed for Introduction to Coaching or Fundamentals of Coaching. Mentor Coaching, Group Supervision and the advanced pathways assume you are already coaching in practice.
- Does Fundamentals of Coaching count toward the full qualification?
- Yes. Fundamentals of Coaching is Module 1 of the Coach Practitioner programme. Complete it as a standalone course, then continue to Modules 2, 3 and 4 when you are ready. The cost of Module 1 is credited when you progress.
