An advanced team coaching programme for accredited coaches, delivered within an ICF AATC-accredited pathway toward ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC).
About this programme
Transformational Team Coaching is an advanced programme for accredited coaches who want to deepen their team coaching practice and work toward the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC). It is delivered within an ICF AATC-accredited pathway and built around the ICF Team Coaching Competencies.
The programme develops your ability to coach the team as a single entity, navigate complex group dynamics, work with what is emerging in the moment, and facilitate sustained change in how teams perform and learn together. It combines skill development with personal transformation, helping you bring greater clarity, depth, and impact to your team coaching work.
The format blends live online learning, an in-person intensive, and reflective supervision, alongside self-guided practice with your own client teams throughout the programme.
It is delivered by our expert coaching faculty.
What you will develop
The programme is structured around four modules, each addressing a distinct dimension of advanced team coaching practice.
-
Foundations of team coaching
Understand what team coaching is and is not. Explore the ICF Team Coaching Competencies, clarify roles and contracting, and learn how to initiate the first phase of a team development journey including pitching for work, stakeholder engagement, and diagnostics.
-
Team coaching interventions
Deepen your intervention repertoire across different team development phases. Practice with simulated team situations, manage conflict and dysfunctional group dynamics, explore approaches including appreciative inquiry and systemic thinking, and receive individual feedback against the ICF Team Coaching Competencies.
-
Holding space and working with emergence
Develop the skills and presence required to hold space for a team and work with what is emerging in the system. Explore how to stay resourced while navigating complexity, power, and diversity within team dynamics.
-
Ethics, integration, and disengagement
Strengthen your ethical lens on team coaching situations. Explore your identity as a team coach, learn how to shape the disengagement phase well, and develop a clear sense of your professional practice going forward.
